Health Services in the Pontiac

Health services are provided by CLSCs and the Pontiac Hospital (Shawville). Diagnostics services and general and specialized medical care are available at the Pontiac Hospital, while CLSCs provide front-line services either in their facilities or in the community, at school, work or home.

There are six CLSCs in the Pontiac: Quyon, Bryson, Otter-Lake, Fort-Coulonge, Chapeau and Rapides-des- Joachims. Emergency Room services are provided at the Fort-Coulonge CLSC and the Pontiac Hospital in Shawville.
