Pontiac Community Radio, also known as CHIP FM has the mission to promote the development of its culture, its artists and its economy, while recognizing the linguistic and cultural duality of the Pontiac; and to contribute to the coming out of the citizens of Pontiac by assuring equitable programming.

It also favours exchanges among citizens, groups and community organisations by broadcasting information on its political, social, economical, educational, cultural, artistic and recreational sectors.

 

We can find CHIP FM on the 101.7 frequency, which is accessible everywhere in the Pontiac, Renfrew County, a good part of the Vallée de la Gatineau and also in some parts of the region of the national Capital.

Pontiac Community Radio is proud of its diversified programming which services its French and English communities, offering 60% of its radio programs in the French language and 40% in English.

 

With its 10KW transmitter, the radio station is accessible to more than 50 000 people, informing not only the citizens of its community but also allowing residents from other regions close to discover the  multi-faceted region of the MRC of Pontiac.
