Events and local history fund

Numerous organizations and municipalities are looking to promote their heritage or bring life to their communities by means of cultural activities. Aware that these initiatives sometimes have difficulty meeting the criteria of the provincial and federal subsidy programs, the Pontiac CLD decided to reserve a portion of their budget for project proposals. The NPO's or the municipalities can asked for one of the three components:

  • Organization of cultural activities and cultural events
  • Promotion of community activities and event
  • Media highlighting local history

The program is not available at this point for 2011. Please consult this page in April 2012. But if you have a project ready, you can contact the Pontiac CLD. The projects included in the objectives of theStrategic Plan of the MRC of Pontiac will be prioritized.
