Campbell’s Bay, May 15, 2019—After nine and a half years of service for the MRC Pontiac, Deputy Director Gabriel Lance will be leaving the organization.
“Mr. Gabriel Lance has worked with three different Wardens and served under two Director Generals, in addition to having assumed the Director General interim for more than 18 months. He has over the years piloted several important projects of the MRC, “states Bernard Roy, Director General.
“It was a great pleasure to finish my career with the MRC Pontiac,” says Mr. Lance. “Several things have been accomplished during this time. Among other things, the introduction of the paperless Council and the management of vacation lot leases. I have fond memories of these nine and a half years of my life, and especially the people I met during that time.”
“But especially,” resumed Mr. Roy, “Mr. Lance will have embodied for almost a decade the stability in a municipal organization that is rapidly changing.”
His departure, however, was expected and planned. The young management team will quickly resume his files and responsibilities.
The MRC offers its best wishes to Mr. Gabriel Lance and his plans for the future.
