Campbell’s Bay, November 20, 2020 – The MRC Pontiac have launched a new website to help welcome new citizens and potential investors to the region – DestinationPontiac.ca
Today, the MRC Pontiac announce the launch of our newest microsite – DestinationPontiac.ca . This project was made possible with a financial contribution of $40,000 authorized by the Fonds de développement des régions and groups of the Fédération des caisses Desjardins du Québec.
The mission behind this microsite is to provide a ‘virtual welcome’ and resource page for new residents, professionals and potential investors who are considering moving or have recently arrived in the Pontiac. The site includes information on the services and economic opportunities available in the region. There is also an online job board for people looking for local employment.

DestinationPontiac.ca will serve as a point of welcome, offering information on the things that matter most. For individuals and families this might include health care, community services and lifestyle information. For businesses this might include available lands, financing and accompaniment information. This website will put the right information into the right hands,’’ expressed Cyndy Phillips, Director of Economic Development for the MRC Pontiac.
