Forest Resources Development Program (PMVRMF) - Volet II
The volet II program follows two objectives:
- Projects which aim for the protection and development of natural forest resources
- Structural recreational projects in forest areas
- Multiresource projects
The program aims for the creation of jobs and regional economic development.
The financing of this program is provided by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Fauna (MRNF), which disburses to the Conférence régionale des Élus de l’Outaouais (CRÉO) a budgetary envelope drawn from the Forestry Fund. The CRÉO manages the funds in collaboration with the MRC Pontiac, the MRC Collines-de-l’Outaouais, the MRC Papineau and the MRC Vallée-de-la-Gatineau.
The projects will be evaluated upon specific regional criterias and the program budget for 2011-2012 is $343,824 for the MRC Pontiac.
