ADMINISTRATION 

La MRC lance un appel pour le poste de Technicien en prévention d’incendie

Le Conseil de la MRC de Pontiac a autorisé le lancement de l’appel à candidatures pour le poste de Technicien en prévention d’incendie à la MRC de Pontiac. Le poste était précédemment occupé par Jonathan Perreault. L’appel sera ouvert au public sur le site web de la MRC ce jeudi, le 23 janvier. 

TERRITOIRE

Approbation du plan de développement du lac Baptiste

Le Conseil de la MRC de Pontiac a autorisé le développement de huit (8) lots de villégiatures au lac Baptiste dans le TNO. Les terrains seront offerts aux résidents ainsi qu’aux personnes intéressées de l’extérieur du Pontiac. L’attribution des terrains se fera par tirage au sort à l’automne 2020.

En vertu de l’entente de gestion, la MRC a le pouvoir et la responsabilité de mettre en disponibilité de nouveaux emplacements de villégiature dans le TNO du Lac-Nilgaut. Le règlement de zonage du lac Baptiste permet la construction de chalets de villégiature et de camps de chasse et pêche.

Régant Dugas, Directeur du Territoire pour la MRC de Pontiac, invite les personnes intéressées à consulter le site de la MRC au cours de l’été 2020 afin d’obtenir des détails sur ce tirage au sort.

Nomination des membres au Comité consultatif agricole

Le Conseil de la MRC de Pontiac a accepté les nominations suivantes au Comité consultatif agricole (CCA) :  Bob Griffin, Rita Payne, David Gillespie, Brent Orr, Brian Drummond et Ana McBride. Le CCA a pour fonction d’étudier, à la demande du conseil de la MRC ou de sa propre initiative, toute question relative à l’aménagement du territoire agricole, à la pratique des activités agricoles et aux aspects environnementaux qui sont rattachés à cet aménagement ou à cette pratique.

Les membres du CCA siègent pour une période de deux ans (2020-2021).

INFRASTRUCTURE RÉGIONALES

La MRC de Pontiac dépose le rapport d’entretien de la PPJ pour 2018-2019

Le Conseil de la MRC adopte le rapport annuel d’activités et les dépenses d’entretien du Cycloparc PPJ totalisant 236 204,50 $ pour 2018-2019, tel qu’exigé par le programme d’entretien de la Route verte du ministère des Transports, qui rembourse 50 % des dépenses d’entretien et d’amélioration de la piste.

La MRC de Pontiac déposera auprès du Ministère des Transports une demande de prolongation des sommes auxquelles elle avait droit, mais qui n’ont pas été utilisées vu l’annonce tardive de la relance du programme d’entretien de la Route verte en printemps 2019. La MRC souhaite transférer cette somme de 53 409,00 $ au budget d’entretien de 2020-2021.

DIVERS

La MRC de Pontiac a exprimé son plein appui à la célébration Festi-Pont qui aura lieu à l’été 2021

Compte tenu de l’importance patrimoniale et touristique du pont Félix Gabriel-Marchand, le Conseil des maires a accordé son plein appui à l’organisme Phare-Ouest pour l’organisation du festival Festi-Pont qui aura lieu à l’été 2021. Le Conseil des maires a également demandé à l’administration de voir à la possibilité de contribuer financièrement et techniquement à l’organisation du festival.

La MRC de Pontiac demandera au ministère des Affaires municipales et de l’Habitation de recevoir des demandes de révision à la ZIS

Certaines résidences endommagées par les inondations printanières de 2019 ne se trouvent pas dans la version actuelle de la carte définissant la zone d’intervention spéciale (ZIS), ce qui a de grandes répercussions sur les options de compensation disponibles pour les citoyens concernés.

Le Conseil a donc résolu de demander au ministère des Affaires municipales et de l’Habitation de prendre en considération les demandes de révision à la ZIS lorsque des informations pertinentes et bien documentées à cet effet leur sont communiquées.
