Support politique concerté

Le Conseil de la MRC invite M. André Fortin, député provincial de Pontiac, et Will Amos, député fédéral de Pontiac, à discuter de stratégies pour faire face efficacement aux inondations de 2017 et 2019 ainsi qu’aux possibles inondations futures.

Pareillement, le Conseil demande d’organiser une rencontre pour concerter des dirigeants politiques du Québec et de l’Ontario, nommément les préfets de la région de l’Outaouais et le maire de Gatineau ainsi que la préfète du comté de Renfrew et le maire d’Ottawa.

Demande d’un bureau local pour le MSP et des rencontres et services également en Anglais

Le Conseil Régional de la MRC de Pontiac demande au ministère de la Sécurité publique (MSP) d’établir un bureau temporaire dans le Pontiac afin de faciliter l’accès aux services du MSP pour les résidents touchés par les inondations.

Il est également demandé que des rencontres additionnelles soient organisées dans le Pontiac par le MSP et que des réunions et la documentation disponible soient pareillement offertes en anglais.

Appui de la résolution de Mansfield-et-Pontefract

Le Conseil Régional appuie la résolution 93-05-2019 adoptée par le Conseil de la municipalité de Mansfield-et-Pontefract, intitulée « Demande d’enquête sur la régularisation des rivières et la gestion des barrages en Outaouais ».

Collecte de matières résiduelles

Le conseil régional demande que la MRC étudie la possibilité de coordonner une collecte des matières résiduelles pour les municipalités et les résidents victimes de la crue printanière. Une fois l’information obtenue, la MRC communiquera avec les municipalités pour les aviser des options qui leur sont offertes.

Gestion contractuelle

Depuis janvier 2018, les MRCs et Municipalités doivent adopter un règlement en gestion contractuelle où il est permis d’établir le mode d’adjudication de contrats ayant une valeur supérieure à 25 000 $ et inférieure au seuil nécessitant un appel d’offre publique (présentement 101 100 $).

La MRC adoptera un nouveau règlement en conséquence, ce qui augmente l’autonomie et le pouvoir (Loi 122) tout en assurant une gestion saine et rigoureuse.

Développement

Financement grands événements

  • Une contribution à la hauteur de 3 750$ pour le Pontiac International édition 2019 et Bristol Dryland World Cup 2019 .

Dons et commandites

  • La Municipalité de L’Isle-aux-Allumettes reçoit une commandite de 400$ pour son Festival au Style de L’Isle.
  • Les Amis du Cycloparc PPJ reçoit une commandite de 250$ pour la réimpression du « Cycloparc PPJ Services Directory », et couvrir les coûts de publicité pour un nouvel événement régulier.
