SUSPENSION TEMPORAIRE VISANT DES TERRITOIRES INCOMPATIBLES AUX ACTIVITÉS MINIÈRES
Le Conseil de la MRC de Pontiac a présenté auprès du ministère de l’Énergie et des Ressources naturelles du Québec une demande de suspension temporaire visant des territoires incompatibles aux activités minières. Cela signifie qu’aucun nouveau titre d’exploration (claim) ne pourra être émis dans ces secteurs. La MRC de Pontiac consultera les différents partenaires au moment opportun afin de parvenir à la version finale des territoires incompatibles aux activités minières.

SAUVETAGE NAUTIQUE
La MRC demande au gouvernement une aide financière pour l’achat d’équipements de sauvetage nautique et demandera également aux autres MRCs pour leur appui dans cette demande.

- La Table de développement social du Pontiac – 500 $
- Waltham Recreation Association – 500 $
- Réseau Biblio de l’Outaouais – 120 $
FONDS DE DÉVELOPPEMENT DES TERRITOIRES (FDT)
Suite aux recommandations du comité d’analyse des projets structurants du FDT, le Conseil de la MRC accorde le financement (enveloppe de 200 000$) aux projets suivants :
- Jardin Éducatif / Fab Lab (Le Fablab du jardin éducatif) : 36 000,00 $
- Norway Bay Municipal Association (Mise-à-jour du Parc Centennial) : 9 000,00 $
- Municipalité de Chichester (Aménagement parc bord de l’eau) : 14 000,00 $
- Municipalité de Mansfield-et-Pontefract (Rénovation des parcs de jeux) : 12 000,00 $
- Amis du manoir St-Joseph (Agrandissement bâtiment (+10 chambres)) : 70 000,00 $
- Coop Solidarité de Plein Air l’hélianthe (Initiation au plein air pour personnes handicapées) : 5000,00 $
- CDC Pontiac (Santé communautaire) : 10 000,00 $
- Asso Récréative de Chapeau (Amélioration du parc communautaire) : 5 000,00 $
- Centre communautaire Harrington (Amélioration du centre communautaire) : 5 000,00 $
- Association Tourisme Pontiac (Rénovation relais information touristique (RIT)) : 4 000,00 $
- Municipalité de Bryson (Aménagement et accessibilité de la plage) : 2 000,00 $
- Municipalité de Bristol (Réaménagement plage publique Norway Bay) : 24 000,00 $
- Table Aînés retraités du Pontiac (Réseau aînés – Consolidation et innovation) : 3 000,00 $
- Municipalité L’Île-du-Grand-Calumet (Souper Culture) : 1 000,00 $
