Départ de Danielle Newman, Directrice du développement économique de la MRC de Pontiac

Campbell’s Bay, le 22 novembre 2019— C’est à la fois avec tristesse et reconnaissance que nous annonçons le départ de Mme Danielle Newman qui quittera le poste de directrice au développement économique le 10 janvier 2020.

C’est un choix personnel qui motive le départ de Madame Newman d’une fonction qui continue de lui tenir à cœur, celle de directrice au développement économique de son comté. Elle a partagé ces quelques pensées en annonçant son départ à ses collègues :

« Ce fut un honneur et un plaisir de travailler pour la MRC de Pontiac et le rôle de directrice au développement économique me manquera beaucoup. Je m’engage à assurer une transition aussi fluide que possible pour que le département de développement économique maintienne son élan positif.

Je tiens aussi à vous souligner ma reconnaissance, envers vous chers collègues, ainsi qu’envers la population du Pontiac, pour m’avoir accueillie si chaleureusement. J’espère continuer à contribuer au développement du Pontiac en m’impliquant davantage dans la communauté après mon départ de la MRC. »

Nous remercions Madame Newman pour son service et ses nombreuses réalisations, notamment la restructuration de plusieurs processus internes afin de les rendre plus efficaces et la continuation et la mise en marche de nombreux projets de développement économique.

Nous avons déjà commencé le processus de remplacement. Et pour assurer le succès de notre démarche, nous allons nous entourer de spécialistes en dotation, notamment à la Fédération québécoise des municipalités (FQM). Pour sa part, Madame Newman veillera à ce que ses dossiers soient bien pris en main afin d’assurer une douce transition et de faciliter le passage du flambeau à son successeur le moment venu.

Au nom des membres du personnel et du Conseil des maires, je tiens à remercier de tout cœur Danielle pour son excellent travail ainsi que la belle collaboration qu’elle a su développer entre la grande équipe de la MRC et l’ensemble de nos partenaires en développement économique. Nous lui souhaitons tout le succès et le bonheur voulu dans ses projets d’avenir.
