The MRC Pontiac has made more than $200,000 available to local organisations for the implementation of sustainable projects aimed at improving the quality of life of citizens.
Campbell’s Bay, September 13, 2019—The MRC Pontiac has opened the Territorial Development Fund (TDF) Growth Generating Projects program call for projects to non-profit organisations, cooperatives, band councils of aboriginal communities and municipalities that have a growth-generating project.
The funds for this program are the result of an agreement between the MRC Pontiac and the Ministère des Affaires Municipales et de l’Habitation (MAMH). Their purpose is to finance development projects that advance the MRC’s targeted priorities for local and regional development in various sectors. Targeted sectors include:
- Agriculture;
- Forestry;
- Tourism;
- Commerce et services;
- Social and community;
- Culture and heritage.
