Emergency Financial Aid Remains Available to Pontiac Businesses as the Pandemic Persists

Campbell’s Bay, December 23, 2021 – Emergency Financial Aid Remains Available to Pontiac Businesses as the Pandemic Persists

With the announcements made by Premier François Legault this past Monday, December 20th, 2021, the MRC Pontiac wishes to reassure our businesses that aid is available to help weather the storm.

Eligible businesses can access emergency loans up to $50,000 with advantageous terms.  Should a business be under a closure order when the application for assistance is made, there is a possibility to benefit from loan forgiveness for certain eligible expenses.

The relevant information, along with links to various provincial and federal assistance programs as well as the application forms can be found on the MRC website at https://www.mrcpontiac.qc.ca/en/covid-19-emergency-help-for-small-and-medium-businesses/.

The entire economic development team wishes for a safe holiday season for our entire business community.  We remain dedicated to helping you through this exceptionally difficult time.

For more information, please contact Cyndy Phillips, Director of Economic Development.
