Otter Lake

Plage d'Otter LakeThe township of Otter Lake is renowned for its numerous lakes and beautiful evergreen forests. In fact, the village is surrounded by lakes and forests where locals and tourists practice fishing, swimming, hunting… It is said that the fishing tales in Otter Lake are unlike anywhere else!

Outdoor lovers can enjoy hiking and ATVing on Otter Lake’s many trails. Mountain bike adrenaline chasers can test their limits on the more treacherous mountain trails. And during the winter, it’s by dog sled and snowmobile that the true natural beauty of the Canadian Shield is revealed.

The village offers several local services, such as restaurants, convenience stores, the post office, parks, tourist lodging, a library, hair salons, etc.
