Donations and sponsorships

Organisations whose projects or activities are on the Pontiac territory can receive donations or sponsorships from the MRC Pontiac.

To apply, please read the Donations and Sponsorships Policy, fill out the application form and send it to mrc@mrcpontiac.qc.ca, or by mail.

Note that requests for donations and sponsorships are approved by resolution of the MRC Regional Council, which is held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month (except for the month July when Council does not meet). Please send your request at least 2 months before the event.

Funds for Major Events: Regional, National and International

  • Local events or festivals – maximum amount that can be requested: $500
  • Growing tourism events or festivals – maximum amount that can be requested: $2,000
  • Structuring tourism events or festivals – maximum amount that can be requested: $5,000;

Applications will now be processed twice (2) per year, based on predetermined deadlines. Deadline 1: April 29 at noon, for events taking place bet-ween June 1 and December 31. Deadline 2: November for events taking place between January 1 and May 31.
