L’accès routier vers la plage du Lac Dumont sera fermé

Mise à jour sur le dossier du Lac Dumont…

La MRC de Pontiac a reçu l’autorisation du Ministère des Forêts, de la Faune et des Parcs de fermer l’accès routier vers la plage du lac Dumont à la condition que la fermeture soit permanente, que la MRC (avec ses partenaires) assume les coûts associés (autres que la signalisation), et que l’emplacement physique de la fermeture soit dans les limites du bail de camping que détient la Société d’aménagement et de gestion environnementale (SAGE) du lac Dumont.

La MRC de Pontiac s’est engagée à construire une rampe de mise l’eau dans la baie de la Truite sur la rive opposée afin de fournir un accès aux bateaux, accès qui se trouve actuellement à la plage. La MRC a maintenant obtenu tous les autorisations et permis requis pour effectuer les travaux, qui s’achèveront en juin 2016. Ces travaux coûteront environ 30 k$.

Par résolution du Conseil des élus, la MRC de Pontiac avait demandé la fermeture du chemin d’accès à la plage du Lac Dumont pour des raisons environnementales et de sécurité publique; la municipalité de Cayamant avait également demandé que ce chemin soit fermé, et la SAGE était en faveur de la fermeture.
