Campbell’s Bay, le 14 janvier 2019— Le premier Conseil « Jeunesse » de la MRC de Pontiac se tiendra le 21 janvier 2019. Cette initiative est une grande première dans l’histoire des MRC du Québec. Le Conseil « Jeunesse » est formé de 18 étudiants de 14 à 18 ans représentant les 18 municipalités de la MRC.
Ce projet, initié par la préfète Jane Toller, fut accepté par les maires lors du Conseil régional du 17 septembre 2018. Cette importante résolution donne une voix à la jeunesse Pontissoise lui permettant d’exprimer ses priorités pour notre futur dans le Pontiac.
Le Conseil « Jeunesse » se réunira le lundi 21 janvier à 19h00 dans la salle Elsie Gibbons de la MRC de Pontiac à 19h00 en présence de leurs parents, 3 directeurs d’école, les 18 maires et la préfète Jane Toller.
